Hysteropterum is a genus of 'planthoppers' described by Amyot & Serville in 1843. Species of this genus are mainly present in Austria, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and in North Africa. The adults reach 5–7 millimetres of length, the basic coloration of their body is mostly pale brown or yellowish, with well drawn veins on wings. The females are usually slightly bigger than the males (from Wikipedia). The identity of this species is not known, and visitors are welcomed to tell us the name of species.
